This course is designed to give you a hands on introduction to the world of digital video editing. You will learn the basics of digital video editing such as capturing video, importing source files, assembling the rough cut, in and out points, transitions, special effects and more using Microsoft's free movie editing program, Windows Movie Maker.
Movie Maker 2.6 (the old version) is required for this workshop. If you have Windows 7 or 8 on your computer, you have the newer version of Movie Maker. You can download Version 2.6 at http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=34.
